A little about my philosophy

One of the most rewarding things about wine, is knowing which bottle to open when, and with what.

Whether you're sipping solo on your sofa or clinking glasses at one of my tastings, I believe wine should be fun, flavourful, and deeply personal as well as about connection. No stuffy jargon that leaves you feeling like an outsider, and no question that cannot be asked.

Just connection, creativity culture, cuisine, and community — all poured into your glass.

With almost two decades in the wine world, I've lived in and worked in a myriad of companies and countries and have been lucky enough to spend quality time with winemakers, importers, buyers, sellers, enthusiasts, Sommeliers and wine lovers from all walks of life to truly understand what makes each of them excited, what makes their take on wine different (and usually delicious) and how I can let you experience all of it too.

From wine marketing, events, customer profiling, wine buying, list building, winery work, palate analysis and so much more, I've seen the intricacies of the industry and also where there are massive challenges for those who want to get more involved. My mission is to help my guests feel confident and connected through wine and with their wine choices, whether it's cooking at home, navigating a restaurant list or getting together with a group of friends to host their own mini wine tasting.

With knowledge I pull from my own experience, plus neuroenology and my official studies, I am here to help you make sense sense of wine with you so that you have the thirst for more knowledge and the confidence to find the flavours you know you're going to enjoy.
